Pickled Jalapeño Margaritas

Ingredients

  • ½ oz Ricos Pickled Jalapeño juice
  • 1½ oz El Perrito Tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • Juice of 2 squeezed limes, lime wedge, and zest
  • ½ oz simple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • Jalapeño salt for rimming the glass

Instructions

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of the serving glass
  • Fill a shallow bowl or plate with coarse salt and lime zest mixed to dip the rim until it is covered
  • Add tequila, Cointreau, syrup, lime juice, & a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker
  • Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill
  • Fill the prepared serving glass with ice
  • Strain in the margarita mix, garnish with lime wedge
  • Enjoy!!
