Mixed Fry Basket

  • Your choice of products to batter (we chose Ricos Pickles, Ricos Jalapeños, and chicken bites)
  • 14 oz bag of Ricos Nacho Cheese Chips (pulverized)
  • 3 oz juice from Ricos Pickled Jalapeños
  • 1 tub Ricos Queso Pronto of choice
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (divided)
  • 2 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder


  • In a food processor, pulse the chips until they are close to a powder
  • In a separate bowl add buttermilk, ½ cup of flour, salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and jalapeño juice
  • Mix well
  • Add your desired product to the buttermilk mixture for 10 minutes
  • One at as time pull the product out of the buttermilk, let drip for a minute and then coat with pulverized chips
  • Cook in an air fryer @ 375 °F until golden brown (the chicken should reach a temperature of 165 °F, about 12 minutes)
  • Dip crispy snacks into Ricos Queso Pronto!
