Ingredients
- Your choice of products to batter (we chose Ricos Pickles, Ricos Jalapeños, and chicken bites)
- 14 oz bag of Ricos Nacho Cheese Chips (pulverized)
- 3 oz juice from Ricos Pickled Jalapeños
- 1 tub Ricos Queso Pronto of choice
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (divided)
- 2 tbsp Kosher salt
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the chips until they are close to a powder
- In a separate bowl add buttermilk, ½ cup of flour, salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and jalapeño juice
- Mix well
- Add your desired product to the buttermilk mixture for 10 minutes
- One at as time pull the product out of the buttermilk, let drip for a minute and then coat with pulverized chips
- Cook in an air fryer @ 375 °F until golden brown (the chicken should reach a temperature of 165 °F, about 12 minutes)
- Dip crispy snacks into Ricos Queso Pronto!
