The Twisted Taco Truck Throwdown is a Food Truck Competition that takes place every May in San Antonio, Texas. This FREE Event features over 20 Taco and Food Trucks competing in three categories to see who has the right to claim that their truck serves up the best taco in the city. Local celebrity judges vote on who has the tastiest Tacos al Pastor and the best “Freestyle” taco in this all day event while attendees determine the Peoples’ Choice winner by voting via TEXT.
The VFW Post 76 hosted the 7th Annual Twisted Taco Truck Throwdown, a taco and food truck competition, on Saturday May 13th, 2017, 3pm to 12 midnight.
Presented by Twisted Tea, this free all ages event featured live music as local taco trucks and food trucks showcased their twisted culinary masterpieces. Attendees enjoyed a sampling period from 4pm to 8pm when tacos al pastor will were available from all trucks for only $1. Winners were announced on site.
Ricos Products and Texan Original were on site to share snacks with all.
