Ricos is proud to team up with the Texas Charge of the NPF (National Pro Fastpitch).
National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) is a growing professional sports platform for women in sport, specifically the sport of fastpitch softball. NPF currently exists as a rarity among professional team sports options for women. The league provides a place for fastpitch softball’s elite level players, to compete against each other. The NPF works to grow the game daily through individual team ownership, increased engagement with corporate America partners and expanded television coverage. The six current affiliate NPF teams are located in Akron, OH; Beijing, China; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; San Marcos, TX; and Viera Beach, FL.
Ricos and the Texas Charge joined forces to raise money for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) on August 5th. Player worn jerseys were auctioned off to raise funds….over $2500 was raised to support the cause.
Ricos treated fans to the Ricos Drum line and Peanut Toss…a fan favorite.
