Q: Can I freeze Ricos Cheese?
A: Opened Ricos Cheese containers can be frozen when placed in freezer safe containers or bags. Our cheese is designed to withstand three freeze/thaw cycles.
Additional Information:
*Ricos cheese should not be frozen in the original packaging. This includes canned cheese, pouch cheese, jar cheese or cup cheese sauces.
*Opened Ricos containers that have been covered properly can be refrigerated up to 4 days.
*Once a cheese can is opened, the product is exposed to its surroundings, here various enzymes can break down the thickness or viscosity of the cheese-based sauce.
Example: reusing utensils that can contain bacteria.
