Pickled Jalapeño Margarita

  • 1 1/2 El Perrito Tequila
  • 1 Oz Cointreau 
  • Juice of 2 freshly squeezed limes
  • 1/2 Oz Simple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 1/2 Oz Ricos pickled jalapeño juice
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge and zest
  • Jalapeño salt for rimming the glass


  • Run a lime wedge (the juicy part) around the top rim of your serving glass
  • Fill a shallow bowl or plate with coarse salt and lime zest mixed to dip the rim until it is covered
  • Add tequila, Cointreau, syrup, lime juice & a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker
  • Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill
  • Fill the prepared serving glass with ice
  • Strain in the margarita mix, garnish with lime wedge
  • Enjoy!
