Roy “Big Country” Nelson resides in Las Vegas and currently competes in the Heavyweight division of Bellator MMA. He is also a proud family man. He is a UFC TUF Champion, IFL Grand Prix Champion and 3-Time IFL Champion. Nelson has a legion of fans on social media. Prior to making his debut as a mixed martial artist in 2004, Nelson was an elementary schoolteacher and program coordinator for an after-school program because of his love for teaching kids and encouraging them to stay in school.
